The connected devices drop from WiFi several times per hour for 3-5 minutes at a time, very frustrating.

Particularly in the current climate, we were alarmed by the TP-Link company’s privacy policy. They can basically use any info that goes through their extender for themselves, their affiliates, and their subsidiaries, in China.

Despite its claims, we found it not fast enough for stable gaming.

We couldn’t get it to network with our plan, to extend the current IPs. Setting it up to the IP LAN, just made the internet unavailable. The instructions that came with it didn’t cover this problem and there was no contact info or support website given to resolve this.

AC1200-Extender, once connected, had a slower response when connected to the EXT address supplied by this device.
