1. LED Snowfall Projector Lights

Product Highlights

Christmas isn’t Christmas without the snow, and this snowfall projector light ensures a magic dusting on your home, no matter what mother nature has in mind. It is simple and has a wide range of nearly ten to twenty feet, so it’s a wonderful way to transform your whole yard.

The product has a remote so you don’t have to step out into the cold to control the snowfall. It has several different modes and speeds, as well as a built-in timer with an automatic shut-off to save power.

Turn your house into a snowstorm and enjoy watching your neighbors marvel over the beautiful display!

Features

  • Remote control for easy operation
  • Automatic shut-off and turn on functionality
  • IP65 waterproofing so no need to worry about the weather outdoors
  • 300 degree spread to maximize the magic of your snowflakes

What We Like

The best thing about these lights is probably the different modes. They stop the display from getting boring because you can opt to make your lights twinkle, or make the snowfall quickly or slowly to get whatever effect you prefer.

The lights are also surprisingly realistic and are ideal if you live somewhere that snow rarely occurs, but you still love this magical aspect of Christmas. Now, you can enjoy it any time!

What We Don’t Like

Sadly, all you get here is the snowfall lights. While that’s really nice, there are many other projectors that offer a much more versatile range of options, so they will get far more use. Who wants it to snow for Halloween, for example? With this projector, that’s all you can do.

The projector doesn’t remember its settings, either, so you always start with fast snowfall and have to reset it to the slower mode or other modes. While this is a minor problem in some ways, it can be a bit frustrating to do it every single day, and there aren’t any alternatives.

PROS

  • Cute and fun idea to make snowfall on your house throughout the holiday season
  • Nice, neat, and simple remote for ease of use
  • An automatic timer turns the lights off and on after preset time periods

CONS

  • No setting recall
  • No other options, just snowfall
  • No ability to adjust the preset timer settings

2. Christmas Snowflake Projector Lights

Product Highlights

For those looking for a similar but more realistic effect, the Christmas snowflake projector is the perfect solution. It will light up your home with beautiful, shaped snowflakes that will drift soothingly down in a pretty sheet of unmistakable snow.

These are a great alternative to having to climb up on unsafe ladders and untangle knotted lights, only to take them all down a few weeks later. Your house can still be snowy and Christmas-y without the extra work.

With a 180 degree rotation and three options for mounting, this is ideal for pretty much any home.

Features

  • Realistic looking snowflakes
  • IP65 waterproof rating
  • Cold weatherproofing down to -105° F
  • Timer
  • Different color options

What We Like

The best feature of this projector is the great snowflakes. These are fun and couldn’t scream “Christmas” any more clearly. It has an excellent range and since you can choose from several different colors, you can make your house bright or subtle, depending on your preferences.

There are settings to change the speed with which the flakes fall and as long as you have them reasonably close to the house, the light is fairly bright. You can also project onto other objects and still get the same enjoyment from it.

What We Don’t Like

There is no remote with this projector, which is very annoying. The manufacturers must realize that this would be wanted by people who would rather not traipse out into the cold and dark and wet to turn on the lights, but it hasn’t been included.

The cable is also quite short, meaning you will probably have to purchase a waterproof extension if you want to position it away from the house.

PROS

  • Several color options
  • Different speeds
  • Easy to set up
  • Optional timer
  • Bright enough when set reasonably close to a house or other surface

CONS

  • No remote control
  • Short cable

3. Halloween Christmas Projector Lights

Product Highlights

If you would like a more flexible and versatile option, this projector is great for almost any occasion. It has a patterned image projector that can display a whole range of different images, with options for all kinds of holidays. Whether you want festive, romantic, spooky, or something suitable for a birthday, it’s perfect.

It also has a more generic option that shows waves, and you can select from ten different color choices, which means you can use it for everyday use or other party situations, even if the images don’t suit the particular event.

Features

  • Remote control
  • Twenty different slides
  • Easy to set up
  • 16.4 ft power cable
  • Approximately 15 feet range for display

What We Like

The versatility of the Christmas lights is the best feature of these lights by far. You will find you can use them all year round, rather than putting them in a Christmas box and just leaving them in the attic or storage year after year.

With the remote, it’s easy to pick any setting that you like to use, so it’s great for birthdays and other celebrations. You can leave it on all night, brightening up the neighborhood, or just flick it off using the remote.

What We Don’t Like

The main disadvantage of this light is that it cannot rotate as some of the other options can. It does have a tilt option of 180 degrees, but it won’t span a house or move around. This makes it a bit less engaging than some of the other projector options.

PROS

  • A whole range of themed images to make any party fantastic
  • Long power cable so you can position the projector anywhere
  • Remote control
  • Range of attachment choices, including spike, sucker, or standing on a flat surface
  • Selection of speeds and timers

CONS

  • No rotation
  • Only frost resistant to -4° F

4. EAMBRITE Multi LED Activated Party Lights

Product Highlights

A wonderful falling snow projector with multiple colors or a white option, this is another very versatile projector that you can use throughout the year, but particularly at Christmas. You get a projector that can be mounted on a spike or situated on a flat surface to create a great combination of lights spread across a building or within a room.

You have ten different color combinations to play with, and you can set an auto switch-off timer to kick in after six hours, and the lights will come back on after eighteen hours. There is also remote control and you can change between steady lights, low speed, medium speed, and high speed. You have a fade in and fade out option too.

Features

  • Fade, steady, low, medium, and fast speed options
  • Ten color combinations suitable for many events
  • Excellent “snow” effect that is perfect for Christmas
  • Timer option
  • Remote control

What We Like

We love the coverage on this light projector, which can give you up to 5500 sq ft, and will cover approximately a 25 ft distance (although you will notice some dimming and blurring at a distance). They are great for indoor or outdoor use.

If you want snowflakes when it isn’t snowing, these lights are good, but they will also work well for Halloween, birthdays, and other celebrations.

You can activate the auto change color feature and the timer to save electricity during the day, and use the remote to select the option you want. Opt for a static display or fade in and out lights, and alter the speed – it’s all there and we love that flexibility.

What We Don’t Like

Sadly, this unit doesn’t do a falling effect for the snow, which is disappointing as a Christmas decoration. Instead, you can have the lights rotate, but you can’t recreate the gentle drifting motion of snow. You may not mind that, but it’s not ideal for the effect most people want to create for their Christmas display.

Although the lights are versatile, this is a bit disappointing. However, if you would like a static display for your home, this may be fine for you.

PROS

  • Multiple colors
  • Good coverage of 5500 ft
  • Swirl movement option
  • Remote control

CONS

  • No “falling” snow option
  • Some quality issues

5. Christmas Laser Lights Outdoors

Product Highlights

If you want to add a crowd of Christmas trees to your home, this projector is a great option. With red and green trees, bells, snowflakes, and Santas, it couldn’t get more Christmas-y. It has five patterns and it’s perfect for the holidays.

Features

  • 300-degree adjustable head
  • Five patterns and three moving speeds
  • Easy installation
  • Long power cable (16 ft)
  • Long ground stake
  • Remote control

What We Like

These lights are definitely a great Christmas choice. Unlike some of the other options, they are totally dedicated to Christmas, so you can make sure your house looks like you’ve put in the effort, rather than using generic lights.

What We Don’t Like

They aren’t as bright as they could be. Unfortunately, many Christmas projectors seem to fall down in this area, and these are no exception, as the lights are hard to see from a distance. With more power, they would be a fantastic option.

PROS

  • Handy remote control for indoor operation
  • Five different Christmas-related patterns
  • “Snow” effect between the patterns
  • Four timing modes

CONS

  • Dim lights
  • Only Christmas-themed so limited use

6. Elec3 Christmas Holiday LED Projection Light

Product Highlights

If you liked the other projection light with various themed holidays, this is a great second option. It has different images, with a total of five Christmas-themed slides and then a variety of other options for other celebrations.

Features

  • Fourteen slides, many holiday-related and some generic
  • IP64 waterproofing
  • Remote that works up to fifty feet
  • Spike and tripod for mounting

What We Like

It’s great to be able to change up the display on your home, and the variety of slides gives this item life throughout the year. Put up Halloween pictures, birthday images, or just plain butterflies or leaves.

We love that this comes with normal pictures too, so you can light up your home whenever you feel like it, getting the most v for your money.

What We Don’t Like

There is no single dot snowflake pattern, although there is a more complicated snowflake projection. Spread over the whole front of your house, you may find this a disappointing option, although the images are nice. They are a little simplistic and cartoon-like, but still good fun.

PROS

  • Remote control and waterproofing
  • Easy mounting system
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Lots of images

CONS

  • No “plain” pattern that you can have when you want something generic
  • No rotation, just a 180-degree movement

7. 1byone Christmas Light Projector

Product Highlights

If you want a really simple projector, possibly for a child’s bedroom, this might be the perfect choice for you. It automatically shifts through the images it displays (all Christmas-themed) to create a magical moving picture.

Features

  • Four auto-switching patterns that switch every ten seconds
  • IP65 waterproofing
  • Bright colors
  • Cute and fun Christmas images
  • Timer

What We Like

We love the idea of the moving image which cycles through without needing user input to keep changing. It would be particularly enchanting for young children, as the image is large and clear even from a distance.

This is a fun and low-energy way to decorate.

What We Don’t Like

The timer switches the light off automatically and doesn’t seem to be something you can switch off. If you want to leave the light on all the time, this can be quite annoying, and you may end up trailing outside in the cold to turn it on again.

There is also no remote, which is annoying for a light like this.

PROS

  • Four patterns generate a fun, changing image
  • Easy to set up
  • Very clear and bright picture

CONS

  • The automatic timer can’t be turned off
  • No remote control

The Final Verdict

The best Christmas light projector is probably the Halloween Christmas Projector Lights because this projector has a good range, twenty slides, and a generous power cord. It can also be used for celebrations throughout the year and it comes with remote control.
