The Letscom ID101HR is a value for money entry into Fitness Tracking.

At a quasi-unbelievable price point, his great unisex Fit Band will help you track daily activity and motivate you towards achieving your activity target. The ID101HR is supported by a competent (and easy to use) iOS and Android App as well as a connection to Google Health and Apple Fit for iOS users. Let's look at the bells and whistles in this in-depth Letscom fitness tracker review.

  • Who Is It For?

If you’ve been thinking of trying an activity tracker but don’t want to commit to spending £60 to £100 then the Letscom ID101HR is a great introduction to Fitness tracking.

It features all the essential fitness monitoring functions as products like the Garmin Vivofit 3 and Fitbit Charge HR / Charge 2.

    Best from the Competitors

The IS101HR is such good value for money it’s hard to recommend alternatives.

It’s NOT a low cost /poor quality product. The step tracking, battery life and heart rate monitor are all very good, as is the build quality, materials and display.

It should be said that the HR is NOT as accurate as that you’d get with something like the Polar A360 or Fitbit Charge 2, but they’re almost 3 to 4 times the price. If you are happy with 90% HR accuracy then there’s nothing to stop you buying this model.

There is also the innovative Mio Slice. The Mio Slice is the world’s first fitness band to incorporate PAI (Personal Activity Intelligence). More advanced than simply counting daily steps the Slice wants to see elevated heart rates for extended periods throughout the day.

    Supported by Android and iOS

This Letscom ID101HR is supported by the LETSFIT app.

I have installed the application on both Android phone (Huawei P9) and iOS (iPhone 6) without any problem. The application is available from both the Apple Storefollow and Google Play Storefollow

    Sleep Tracking

As with other similar products the ID101HR will track the duration and quality of your sleep.

The LETSFIT application provides a review of sleep duration, time to sleep, time awake, deep sleep time, light sleep time and time awake.

    What's in the Box

The ID101HR comes in simple packaging with a clearly laid out instruction manual. I have tried many Chinese Fitness Bands and the one thing that often lets them down is their manual.

Not so with this ID101HR. The manual is written in plain English and I had no problems setting the watch up and connecting it to the App.

When something is this cheap you may be skeptical … I was too. I have bought several “unbranded” Chinese activity trackers in the past, with the view of selling them online.

They have always been a great disappointment either in build quality, functionality, accuracy, ease of use and poor App support, or a combination of many of these issues. HOWEVER, this fitness tracker does not fail in any of these departments.

Should you buy one? Yes you should if you want to dip your toe into the world of fitness tracking but don’t want to break the bank.
