Where To Get Misfit Vapor 2

A Deep Dive Into Misfit Vapor

Misfit Vapor is a minimalist unisex smartwatch that is waterproof. Misfit’s vapor touchscreen smartwatch is easy to use, and it runs Google’s Android Wear operating system.

For men, it seems more like a watch and will look good at the gym or in the office.

For some women, the watch face may seem a bit large but the face size makes it easier to read while running or checking notifications.

The great news is that the Misfit Vapor 2 watch face now comes in two sizes: 41mm and 46mm case size.

There is no price difference in the watch face size, which is a plus. You get all the great features no matter which size you purchase.

Women like the interchangeable bands which can be bought as an accessory.

The Misfit Vapor was released in October 2021 and the Misfit Vapor 2 in October 2021 with lots of improvements.

Anyone interested in a smartwatch with a great Heart Rate tracker should look into a Misfit Vapor.

It has a great Heart rate tracker that provides for specific exercise tracking, and can be integrated into Google Fit so there are a lot of exercises you can keep track of. However, despite the fact that the Misfit is waterproof, it can’t track swimming activity.

What Is Included?

The smartwatch comes in a variety of color styles – Jet (black strap), Stainless Steel, Rose Tone (Rose beige or Blue sport strap), and Gold Tone (Desert Sport strap). You can also buy additional straps to make it more attractive.

There is a textured sport strap option that looks like leather and is waterproof and less sweaty. There is also a stainless steel bracelet option to class it up.

The Misfit Vapor 2 comes in 8 color options including black, blue, rose-beige, stainless steel or rose gold with metal bands of the same color. Worth looking into.

The watch comes with a:

Round Amloed display with 328 pixels/inch resolution and is bright and easy to read

Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform

the Vapor 2 has either a 41mm or 46mm satin-finished stainless steel case while the Misfit Vapor comes with a 46mm stainless steel case.

WiFi and Bluetooth and 4GB memory

A USB charger that connects to a magnetic charging cradle

Optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope  and altimeter

Runs on phones with Android 4.4+ and IOS 9.3+  however the Misfit Vapor 2 works better than the Misfit Vapor when it comes to IOS systems

Overview of Features

The Vapor does not have built-in GPS. However, it has connected GPS capability that uses the location from your paired phone to help you keep tabs on your workout and progress by measuring speed, distance, and time.

However, the good news is that the improved Misfit Vapor 2 has a   standalone GPS so you no longer need to connect to your phone to get calories burned or number of steps accumulated and the battery lasts longer.

The Vapor 2 is swim proof and water-resistant up to 164ft or 50 meters.

It has 4GB of memory and a built-in music player.

How long does it last?

People who bought the Vapor say it lasts for two years at the very least. Misfit Vapor 2 has not been out long enough to know. The glass face can get scratched like any smartphone, and you can replace the bands. Battery performance most likely will start to lag after two years.

Misfit Vapor 2 can run all your Android apps. It is a close competitor of the Huawei Watch 2. Whereas Huawei tries more for the wristwatch look, Misfit Vapor taken a cleaner approach and design. The body is understated so you look at the display, which is what you want when you are checking your heart rate during your workout.

Should you buy it?

Definitely! If you have an Android phone, enjoy minimalist design, and are in the market for a smartwatch with a heart rate sensor then Misfit Vapor is a very good choice.

If you need a GPS and NCF to pay with your phone then consider the Misfit Vapor 2. Provided of course that where you live is a Google Pay compatible country. If you are a woman, I would try it on first and see how it feels. If you need a smaller clock face, then Misfit Vapor 2 may be the perfect option.
